Lucky Dogs was started to help owners and their dogs become  connected thru training. Most people don't understand why their dog does what he/she does and most dogs don't know what in the world their human wants.  I teach you how to form a better bond with your dog!

After years of struggling to train my own dogs, I learned a much more effective way to communicate with them and decided I wanted to share it with others.  So I started fostering and failed miserably, as I kept my first foster (a dachshund mix).  But that didn't stop me!  I decided to continue fostering and chose beagles, as there are so many in need.  I started fostering beagles thru BREW, and while I have adopted one, I have fostered many.  I also volunteer with DRNA (dachshund mix) assisting with transports and application processing.

Most of my foster beagles have come from shelters or were lost by hunters and are not well-socialized.  When I get them, they have had very little human contact and need to learn to love.  My goal and my responsibility is to make them an adoptable, loving family pet and I take pride in knowing that I do that.
